down at the forth TiT roundtable.
Peter "J" 64
introduces a brand new song by Steve Baer (guitarman) called "Big
Mouth". This song was created with the help of Rich Wielgosz (mixed) and sys-doc (hosted). Also Steve Baer was interviewed on the Open Source Musician Podcast #18.
monsterb starts the show with an annoucment from the IRC. "Thistleweb mentioned that Basket Note Pads needs developers or the project could vanish."
Artv61 talks about a distro called Antix. A fast, lightweight and easy to install linux live CD distribution based on MEPIS.
Peter "J" 64 talks about Stellarium.
A free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows
a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye,
binoculars or a telescope.
Klaatu talks about sbopkg. A command-line and dialog-based tool to synchronize with the SlackBuilds.org repository, a collection of third-party SlackBuild scripts to build Slackware packages. Check out Klaatu's secret blog for a sbopkg how-to.
Xoke
mentions USB 3.0 and how Linux will be the first to support it.
He also talks about BitBlinder (Protect Your Internet!) and
shares his Add-ons for Firefox.
